FREE PUBLICITY CLASS

"The Horror Writers Association is sponsoring
a free publicity class to help creators who
are planning events around Halloween. While
the publicity effort is geared to Horror Day,
which is Oct. 13, anyone is welcome to use the materials. The
four-step class is posted on the front page of the
HWA site (www.horror.org) and on the Horror Day
Myspace site (www.myspace.com/horrorday).

"In connection with the chat, HWA officers Steven Wedel
and Scott Nicholson are co-hosting a chat on publicity
on Thurs, Oct. 4, at 9 pm EST. Nickolas Cook will
moderate the chat at Shocklines, and the chat is open
to anyone.

"Remember, you don’t have to be an HWA member or Horror
Day participant to join in and learn. The class is
free and no passwords or registration are required."
